Dusting Off Dreams – I Can’t Remember – Wattpad

I can’t remember the time, nor the place.
I can’t remember your red skirt and leather jacket.
I can’t remember my awkward smile.
I can’t remember the way your ponytail hung,
resting on your shoulder.
I can’t remember my head in the clouds,
clasping, searching for anything to calm my nerves.
I can’t remember red wine, cooling my anxiety.
I can’t remember New Found Glory playing on the radio.
I can’t remember the Polo perfume on your sunkissed skin.
I can’t remember the glitter just below your neckline.
All I know is it was the best conversation that I’ve ever had.
