Dusting Off Dreams – Catholic Guilt – Wattpad

Summer had blended to fall.
The birch tree had lost its leaves.
We spent the night together.
It was supposed to be platonic.
But she played R. Kelly.
And then came heavy breathing,
awkwardly staring at the ceiling.
Waiting, anticipating an electric rush, colliding memories with her cherry-red lip gloss.
It’s an emotional kaleidoscope,
Like handprints, tattooing the memory of her tight hips on wet cement fit in my shaky fingertips.
She slipped her shirt off.
I slipped my jeans off.
She slipped her bra off.
I spread my fingers across her chest,
Catholic guilt set in,
And all her clothes reappeared.
So we kissed.
And dry humped.
Our clothes came off again.
We did it,
And she asked God for forgiveness.
It happened again.
And she asked God for forgiveness.
It happened again,
And we asked God for forgiveness.
And then, God blessed us with you.
